Since 2004, Chris has worked with prominent investment managers and academic institutions in London and New York, including BlackRock Investment Managers and University College London. His career at BlackRock spanned roles in risk management working as a risk manager and quantitative analyst, and in liability-driven investment (LDI) as a portfolio manager. He has collaborated with BlackRock Solutions (BRS) since its inception in Europe, and has used the Aladdin platform, since 2006. Chris has contributed several features to Aladdin in this time, many of which clients still benefit from today. Chris' understanding of the Aladdin data model, front-office processes, derivative markets, and pricing models is extensive and spans all asset classes. He has demonstrated expertise in supporting investment managers to solve complex problems and in maximising the value of operating platforms like Aladdin. In recent years, Chris' work has centred on the development of tools designed to facilitate and expedite platform integration, a pursuit informed by years of direct client engagement. He also maintains a keen interest in leveraging web technologies and computing to enhance all phases of the client implementation journey, encompassing both pre- and post-implementation stages. He retains close professional connections within BRS and stays up-to-date with Aladdin product developments, for the benefit of clients. Chris holds a BA and MMath in Mathematics from Cambridge University, and an MSc in Financial Engineering, MRes in Computer Science and PhD in Mathematics from the University of London (UCL).

Muaz has worked with global asset managers since 2007, including JP Morgan Asset Management and Aviva, accumulating almost a decade of experience across multiple asset classes on the Aladdin platform. Prior to this, Muaz gained expertise with several investment management platforms, such as thinkFolio and Bloomberg. As a multi-asset and asset allocation specialist, Muaz has deep knowledge of all front-office workflows, spanning the major portfolio construction tools and the proprietary Aladdin optimisation engine. He combines expertise in finance with a strategic interest in cutting-edge AI and technology, especially when applied to business processes. Muaz consistently demonstrates his expert grasp of the Aladdin data model, reporting methodologies and investment strategies in all his work, such as migrating passive and systematic investment desks to Aladdin and embedding public and bespoke ESG data into investment and reporting processes. Muaz obtained a BSc in Computer Science from Brunel University, an MSc in Software Systems Engineering from the University of London (UCL), and an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
